 Cheese Kottu



Ingredients:

  • 200g of chopped roti (flatbread)

  • 100g of grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 1 medium carrot, grated

  • 1 cup of mixed vegetables (peas, bell peppers, and corn)

  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

  • 1 teaspoon of chili flakes (optional)

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Large pan

  • Spatula

  • Grater

  • Chopping board

  • Knife

Instructions:

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  • Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

  • Stir in the grated carrot and mixed vegetables, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until softened.

  • Add the chopped roti to the pan and mix well with the vegetables.

  • Pour in the soy sauce and sprinkle chili flakes if using, mixing everything together.

  • Add the grated cheese on top and stir until melted and well combined.

  • Season with salt to taste and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  • Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander before serving.
