Garlic Chicken with Spiced Rice
Ingredients:
2 cloves of garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
200g of chicken breast, diced
50g of all-purpose flour
50g of breadcrumbs
100g of rice
1 teaspoon of food coloring
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric

Instructions:
Mince the garlic and chop the onion. Set aside.
In a pan, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until they become translucent.
Add the diced chicken to the pan, season with black pepper and turmeric. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
While the chicken is cooking, rinse the rice under cold water. In a separate pot, boil water and add the rice with a pinch of salt. Cook according to package instructions until fluffy.
Once the chicken is cooked, sprinkle the flour over it, stirring well to coat. Cook for another 2 minutes.
Add a splash of water to create a sauce and stir in the food coloring for a rich hue.
In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with a little oil, and spread it on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
Serve the spiced rice on a plate, top with the garlic chicken and sprinkle with toasted breadcrumbs.
