 Chocolate Lava Cake



Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (60g)

  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate (70% cocoa) (40g)

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (50g)

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 large egg yolk

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (15g)

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Ramekin

  • Microwave

  • Mixing bowl

  • Whisk

  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Grease a ramekin with butter and dust with flour.

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together until smooth.

  • Stir in the sugar until well combined.

  • Add the egg, egg yolk, flour, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until just combined.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared ramekin.

  • Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are firm but the center is soft.

  • Let it cool for 1 minute, then invert onto a plate and serve immediately.
