 Vegetable Oats Pancakes



Ingredients:

  • 100g of Whole Wheat Flour

  • 50g of Rice Flour

  • 1/2 tsp of Sea Salt

  • 100g of Beetroot (grated)

  • 100g of Potatoes (boiled and mashed)

  • 1 medium Tomato (finely chopped)

  • 1 medium Onion (finely chopped)

  • 50g of Oats (ground)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Stove Top

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Whole Wheat Flour, Rice Flour, and Sea Salt.

  • Add the grated Beetroot, boiled and mashed Potatoes, chopped Tomato, chopped Onion, and ground Oats to the flour mixture.

  • Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

  • Add water gradually to achieve a smooth pancake batter consistency.

  • Heat a non-stick pan on the stove top over medium heat.

  • Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it into a round shape.

  • Cook the pancake for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

  • Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding more oil to the pan if necessary.

  • Serve the Vegetable Oats Pancakes warm, optionally with a side of yogurt or chutney.
