Butter Sugar Cookies



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 large egg

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a mixing bowl, cream together 1/2 cup of softened butter and 1/2 cup of sugar until light and fluffy.

  • Add 1 large egg to the mixture and beat until well combined.

  • Gradually add 1 cup of all-purpose flour to the mixture, stirring until a dough forms.

  • Scoop small amounts of dough and shape them into balls, then place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a fork.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

  • Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
