 Fressco Chicken Burger



Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts (200g each)

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 whole wheat burger buns

  • 1 cup lettuce leaves

  • 1 medium tomato, sliced

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven

  • Skillet

  • Baking sheet

  • Mixing bowl

  • Knife

  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  • In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Coat each chicken breast with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to adhere.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  • Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through.

  • Toast the whole wheat burger buns in the oven for the last 5 minutes of baking.

  • Assemble the burgers by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom bun, adding lettuce, the baked chicken breast, and tomato slices, then topping with the other half of the bun.
