Cheese Burger with Sweet Chilli Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 Burger patty
- 2 slices Brown bread
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 Tomato, sliced
- 2 slices Gouda Cheese
- 1 Egg
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon Mustard sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sweet chilli sauce
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Oven
- Stove Top
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet on the stove top, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Cook the burger patty in the skillet until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- While the patty is cooking, fry the egg in another pan to your desired doneness.
- Once the patty is cooked, place the Gouda cheese on top and transfer it to the oven for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Toast the brown bread slices in the skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the burger by spreading tomato sauce, mustard sauce, and sweet chilli sauce on one slice of bread.
- Layer the cooked burger patty with melted cheese, fried egg, sliced tomato, and sautéed onions.
- Top with the second slice of bread and serve hot.
