Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, sliced
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup dark rum
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Skillet
Long lighter
Spoon
Ice cream scoop
Instructions:
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.
Add the sliced bananas and cook for about 1-2 minutes until they are tender.
Carefully add the dark rum and ignite with a long lighter to flambé, allowing the alcohol to burn off for about 30 seconds.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Serve the warm banana mixture over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
