Ingredients:

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil

  • 1/2 cup Butter

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.

  • Add the sugar, eggs, and vegetable oil to the mixture and beat until well combined.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder.

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Sprinkle powdered sugar on top of each cookie before baking.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

  • Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
