 Grilled Chicken Salad with Avocado



Ingredients:

  • 200g grilled chicken breast

  • 1 medium avocado (150g)

  • 100g mixed salad greens (spinach, arugula, etc.)

  • 50g cherry tomatoes

  • 30g red onion

  • 30ml olive oil

  • 15ml balsamic vinegar

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Grill

  • Cutting board

  • Knife

  • Large bowl

  • Small bowl

  • Whisk

Instructions:

  • Grill the chicken breast until fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes on each side. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.

  • While the chicken is grilling, prepare the salad. In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and thinly sliced red onion.

  • Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Slice the avocado and add it to the salad bowl.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper to create a dressing.

  • Add the grilled chicken strips to the salad bowl and drizzle the dressing over the top. Toss gently to combine all ingredients.
