Turkey Stir-Fry with Mixed Vegetable



Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground turkey
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Large skillet
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Instructions:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
  • Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  • Serve the turkey stir-fry over cooked brown rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
