 Cheesy Chicken and Fish Bake with Potato Mash




 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of Cheddar Cheese

  • 1 cup of Milk

  • 4 tablespoons of Butter

  • 2 Chicken breasts

  • 2 Fillets of Fish

  • 4 large Potatoes

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven

  • Stove Top

  • Blender

  • Air Fryer

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  • Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks, then boil them in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.

  • While the potatoes are cooking, season the chicken breasts and fish fillets with salt and pepper. Heat a bit of butter in a pan on the stove top and sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. After removing the chicken, use the same pan to quickly sear the fish for about 2-3 minutes on each side.

  • Once the potatoes are done, drain them and return to the heat. Add in the remaining butter, milk, and a pinch of salt. Mash the potatoes until they are creamy and smooth.

  • In a baking dish, place the seared chicken and fish. Pour the milk over the top and then sprinkle with cheddar cheese.

  • Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden.

  • Serve the cheesy chicken and fish bake alongside the creamy potato mash.
