Savory Slow-Cooked Pork Roast
Ingredients:
500g of pork shoulder
200ml of chicken broth
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
2 tsp of dried thyme
1 tsp of paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp of olive oil
2 carrots, sliced
2 potatoes, diced
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Crock Pot
Measuring Cups
Cutting Board
Knife
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sear the pork shoulder on all sides until browned.
Place the seared pork shoulder in the crock pot.
In the pan, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent. Add to the crock pot.
Pour the chicken broth over the pork and add dried thyme and paprika.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and add the sliced carrots and diced potatoes on top of the pork.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
