 Turkey Burger with Avocado





Ingredients:

  • 500g ground turkey

  • 1 medium avocado

  • 50g whole wheat burger buns

  • 30g lettuce

  • 100g tomato slices

  • 10g olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

  • 10g mustard

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Grill

  • Mixing Bowl

  • Spatula

  • Knife

  • Cutting Board

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  • Form the mixture into patties, about 125g each.

  • Heat the grill over medium heat and add the turkey patties. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.

  • While the turkey burgers are cooking, slice the avocado and tomato, and wash the lettuce leaves.

  • Once the burgers are done, toast the whole wheat buns lightly on the grill.

  • Assemble the burgers by spreading mustard on the bottom bun, adding the lettuce, turkey patty, avocado slices, and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
