Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs

  • 50g of spinach, chopped

  • 50g of bell pepper, diced

  • 30g of onion, chopped

  • 20g of shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or feta)

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Frying pan

  • Spatula

  • Mixing bowl

  • Whisk

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until well blended and season with salt and pepper.

  • Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

  • Add the chopped onions and bell pepper to the pan and sauté until they soften, about 3-4 minutes.

  • Add the chopped spinach to the pan and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until wilted.

  • Pour the whisked eggs into the pan, ensuring they cover the vegetables evenly.

  • Cook on medium heat until the edges begin to set, then sprinkle the cheese on top.

  • Once the bottom is golden brown and the top is mostly set, carefully fold the omelette in half.

  • Let it cook for another minute before sliding it onto a plate.
