 Pancakes with Maple Syrup




Ingredients:

  • 100g of whole grain flour

  • 150ml of milk

  • 1 medium egg

  • 10g of baking powder

  • 10g of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • a pinch of salt

  • Maple syrup for serving

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl

  • Non-stick skillet

  • Whisk

  • Measuring cups

  • Spatula

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the whole grain flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg.

  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

  • Add the olive oil to the mixture and stir gently.

  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it if necessary.

  • Pour a ladleful of batter into the skillet and cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.

  • Repeat with the remaining batter.

  • Serve the pancakes warm with a drizzle of maple syrup.
