 Chocolate Chip and Butter Cookies



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter (approximately 227g)

  • 1 cup of sugar (approximately 200g)

  • 1 cup brown sugar (approximately 220g)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 3 cups of wheat flour (approximately 360g)

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 2 cups chocolate chips (approximately 340g)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Large bowl

  • Blender

  • Ice cream scoop

  • Baking tray

  • Cooling rack

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

  • In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.

  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  • In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt.

  • Add the dry ingredient mixture to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.

  • Add the chocolate chips to the dough.

  • Using a spoon, place portions of dough onto a baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

  • Let cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
