Chocolate Chip and Butter Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup butter (approximately 227g)
1 cup of sugar (approximately 200g)
1 cup brown sugar (approximately 220g)
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups of wheat flour (approximately 360g)
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 cups chocolate chips (approximately 340g)
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Large bowl
Blender
Ice cream scoop
Baking tray
Cooling rack
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt.
Add the dry ingredient mixture to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
Add the chocolate chips to the dough.
Using a spoon, place portions of dough onto a baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Let cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
