Ingredients:

  • 1 medium potato (about 150g)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Pot

  • Colander

  • Masher

  • Knife

  • Cutting Board

Instructions:

  • Peel the potato and cut it into small cubes.

  • Boil the potato cubes in a pot of water for about 3 minutes until tender.

  • Drain the water and return the potato to the pot.

  • Add olive oil, salt, and pepper to the potato and mash until smooth.

  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
