Sautéed beef with vegetables
Ingredients:
600g beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
200g bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)
150g zucchini, sliced
100g carrots, julienned
100g onions, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon paprika
Fresh parsley for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Large skillet
Cutting board
Knife
Measuring spoons
Spatula
Instructions:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced beef sirloin to the skillet and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced onions and minced garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
Add the bell peppers, zucchini, and carrots to the skillet. Sauté for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet, add the soy sauce and dried thyme, and stir everything together. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
