Stir-Fried Shrimp with Broccoli
Ingredients:
400g shrimp, peeled and deveined
300g broccoli florets
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked brown rice (for serving)
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Skillet or wok
Spatula
Measuring spoons
Knife
Cutting board
Instructions:
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the broccoli florets. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.
Return the shrimp to the skillet with the broccoli.
Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot over cooked brown rice.
