 Stir-Fried Shrimp with Broccoli




Ingredients:

  • 400g shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 300g broccoli florets

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Cooked brown rice (for serving)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Skillet or wok

  • Spatula

  • Measuring spoons

  • Knife

  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  • Add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and the broccoli florets. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp.

  • Return the shrimp to the skillet with the broccoli.

  • Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Serve hot over cooked brown rice.
