 Chicken Rice



Ingredients:

  • 200g chicken breast, diced

  • 150g jasmine rice

  • 400ml chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 2 green onions, chopped for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Pan

  • Lid

  • Knife

  • Cutting board

  • Measuring cups

  • Spoon

Instructions:

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté until fragrant.

  • Add diced chicken breast, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.

  • Stir in jasmine rice and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently.

  • Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce, bring to a boil.

  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.

  • Remove from heat, drizzle with sesame oil, and fluff rice with a fork.

  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
