Oat flakes with banana and honey
Ingredients:
100g rolled oats
250ml almond milk (unsweetened)
1 medium banana (about 120g)
1 tablespoon honey (about 21g)
30g walnuts (optional)
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of salt
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Saucepan
Stirring spoon
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Knife
Cutting board
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, and a pinch of salt.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the oats are cooked and have absorbed most of the liquid.
While the oats are cooking, slice the banana into rounds.
Once the oats are ready, remove them from the heat and stir in the honey and cinnamon (if using).
Top the oatmeal with the sliced banana and walnuts (if using).
Serve warm and enjoy your oatmeal with banana and honey.
