 Oat flakes with banana and honey



Ingredients:

  • 100g rolled oats

  • 250ml almond milk (unsweetened)

  • 1 medium banana (about 120g)

  • 1 tablespoon honey (about 21g)

  • 30g walnuts (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Saucepan

  • Stirring spoon

  • Measuring cups

  • Measuring spoons

  • Knife

  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, and a pinch of salt.

  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the oats are cooked and have absorbed most of the liquid.

  • While the oats are cooking, slice the banana into rounds.

  • Once the oats are ready, remove them from the heat and stir in the honey and cinnamon (if using).

  • Top the oatmeal with the sliced banana and walnuts (if using).

  • Serve warm and enjoy your oatmeal with banana and honey.
