 Turkey Tacos with Mango Salsa



Ingredients:

  • 300g ground turkey

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 3 small corn tortillas

  • 1 ripe mango, diced

  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped

  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Skillet

  • Mixing bowl

  • Spatula

  • Knife

  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  • Add the ground turkey and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

  • Stir in the cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant.

  • While the turkey is cooking, prepare the mango salsa by combining the diced mango, red onion, jalapeño, lime juice, and cilantro in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.

  • Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.

  • Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the turkey mixture on each tortilla and topping with the mango salsa.

  • Garnish with additional cilantro if desired and serve immediately.
