 Oatmeal with Banana and Almond Butter

Ingredients:



  • 1 cup rolled oats (90g)

  • 2 cups water or milk (480ml)

  • 1 medium banana (118g)

  • 2 tablespoons almond butter (32g)

  • 1 tablespoon honey (21g)

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (1g)

  • Pinch of salt

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Medium saucepan

  • Measuring cups

  • Measuring spoons

  • Spoon for stirring

  • Knife for slicing banana

Instructions:

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water or milk to a boil.

  • Add a pinch of salt and the rolled oats to the boiling water or milk.

  • Reduce the heat to medium and cook the oats for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are creamy and have absorbed most of the liquid.

  • While the oats are cooking, slice the banana into rounds.

  • Once the oats are cooked, remove them from heat and stir in the almond butter, honey, and cinnamon until well combined.

  • Top the oatmeal with the sliced banana and additional almond butter if desired.

  • Serve warm and enjoy your nutritious breakfast!
