Oatmeal with Banana and Almond Butter
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats (90g)
2 cups water or milk (480ml)
1 medium banana (118g)
2 tablespoons almond butter (32g)
1 tablespoon honey (21g)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (1g)
Pinch of salt
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Medium saucepan
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Spoon for stirring
Knife for slicing banana
Instructions:
In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water or milk to a boil.
Add a pinch of salt and the rolled oats to the boiling water or milk.
Reduce the heat to medium and cook the oats for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are creamy and have absorbed most of the liquid.
While the oats are cooking, slice the banana into rounds.
Once the oats are cooked, remove them from heat and stir in the almond butter, honey, and cinnamon until well combined.
Top the oatmeal with the sliced banana and additional almond butter if desired.
Serve warm and enjoy your nutritious breakfast!
