 Hawaiian Style Garlic Shrimp



Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley for garnish

  • Cooked rice for serving

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Skillet

  • Spatula

  • Measuring spoons

  • Knife

  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink.

  • Stir in the soy sauce, honey, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  • Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.

  • Serve the garlic shrimp over cooked rice.
