Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup almond butter

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl

  • Spoon

  • Baking sheet

  • Parchment paper

  • Refrigerator

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine almond butter, rolled oats, chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

  • Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

  • If using, fold in dark chocolate chips.

  • Scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.

  • Place the energy bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
