Strawberry Lemonade
Here is a simple recipe to make Strawberry Lemonade:
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
Extract juice from 4 to 6 lemons to get 1 cup.
1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
4-5 cups cold water
Ice cubes
Lemon slices and whole strawberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the strawberries.
Place the chopped strawberries and 1/4 cup of sugar in a blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth. If you prefer smoother lemonade, strain the strawberry puree through a fine sieve. This will remove the seeds.
Make the lemonade base.
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the remaining sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Combine:
Add the strawberry puree to the pitcher with the lemon juice mixture. Stir well to combine.
Add Water:
Pour in 4 to 5 cups of cold water, depending on how strong or diluted you like your lemonade. Stir well to mix.
Taste and Adjust:
Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if needed. If it’s too sweet, add a bit more water or lemon juice.
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the strawberry lemonade for at least 30 minutes to chill. Serve over ice cubes in glasses.
Garnish with lemon slices and whole strawberries, if desired.
Enjoy your refreshing Strawberry Lemonade!
