 Banana cake with dates and chocolate




Ingredients:

  • 200g of dates

  • 150g flour

  • 200ml almond milk

  • 100g of oat flakes

  • 100g dark chocolate

  • 2 apples

  • 100g peanut butter

  • 2 bananas

  • 50g sugar

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 pinch of sea salt

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Stove Top

Instructions:

  • In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate over low heat, stirring frequently.

  • In a large bowl, mash the bananas and mix with the peanut butter and almond milk.

  • Add the chopped dates, flour, oatmeal, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Mix well until you have a smooth dough.

  • Stir the diced apples into the batter.

  • Pour the melted chocolate into the mixture and mix well.

  • Heat a frying pan over low heat, pour in the batter and spread evenly. Cook for 10-12 minutes until the underside is golden brown.

  • Carefully flip the cake over and cook the other side for another 5-7 minutes.
