 Cheesy Spiced Sandwich




Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread

  • 1 cheese slice

  • 50g of cube cheese

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons of sweet and spicy red sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of tandoori mayo

  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons of cheese spread

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven

  • Stove Top

  • Pressure Cooker

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  • In a frying pan on the stove top, sauté the sliced onions until they are softened and translucent.

  • In a bowl, whisk the egg and season it with salt and pepper.

  • In the same frying pan, pour the whisked egg and scramble until cooked through.

  • Take one slice of bread and spread the cheese spread evenly over it.

  • Layer the sautéed onions, the cheese slice, and cube cheese on top of the cheese spread.

  • Add a generous layer of the sweet and spicy red sauce and tandoori mayo on top.

  • Place the scrambled egg on the sauces and cover with the second slice of bread.

  • Use a buttered oven-safe dish to place the assembled sandwich and bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes until the bread is crispy. Remove from the oven and slice in half before serving.
