Cornmeal Cake with Guava
Ingredients:
200g cornmeal
100ml of oil
3 eggs
150g guava jam
10g de baking powder
50g of powdered milk
100g margarine

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a mold with margarine and sprinkle with cornmeal.
In a bowl, mix the cornmeal and powdered milk. Set aside.
In another bowl, beat the margarine with the oil until you get a smooth cream.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add the cornmeal and powdered milk mixture to the dough, mixing gently.
Add the baking powder and mix gently until combined.
Pour half of the batter into the greased pan.
Cut the guava jam into cubes and spread over the dough in the pan.
Cover with the remaining dough and smooth the surface.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
