Vegetarian Chocolate Chip Cookies





Ingredients:

  • 200g of all-purpose flour

  • 100g of unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 150g of brown sugar

  • 75g of white sugar

  • 100g of unsalted butter

  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract

  • 100g of semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 100ml of almond milk

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Mixing bowl

  • Baking sheet

  • Whisk

  • Cookie cutter

  • Cooling rack

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth.

  • Stir in the vanilla extract and almond milk until well combined.

  • In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until fully combined.

  • Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  • Using a cookie cutter, scoop out portions of the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the centers are soft.

  • Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking rack.
