 Almond Meringue Cookies



Ingredients:

  • 100g of Egg white

  • 200g of Granulated sugar

  • 50g of Icing Sugar

  • 1-2 drops of Redish pink food coloring

  • 150g of Almond meal

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Oven

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 90°C (200°F).

  • In a clean, dry bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy using a mixer.

  • Gradually add the granulated sugar while continuing to whisk until stiff peaks form.

  • Gently fold in the icing sugar and almond meal until combined, being careful not to deflate the mixture.

  • Add the reddish pink food coloring and swirl it gently to create a marbled effect.

  • Using a piping bag, pipe small kisses onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until dry to the touch.

  • Turn off the oven and let the meringues cool completely inside before removing them.
