5 cups granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
5 cups buttermilk
2 1/2 cups vegetable oil
10 large eggs
5 tablespoons red food coloring
5 teaspoons vanilla extract
5 teaspoons baking soda
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
5 tablespoons white vinegar
5 cups cream cheese, softened
5 cups powdered sugar
2 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 1/2 cups raspberry puree (for filling)
2 1/2 cups strawberry jam (for blood effect)
Kitchen Tools Needed:
Large mixing bowls
Electric mixer
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Cake pans
Sharp knife
Spatula
Refrigerator
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, red food coloring, vanilla extract, and vinegar.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until smooth.
Divide the batter into 5 equal parts and pour into greased cake pans.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool.
Once cooled, stack the layers with cream cheese frosting in between each layer.
Carve the cake into the shape of Mark Zuckerberg's head using a sharp knife.
Cover the entire cake with cream cheese frosting and smooth it out.
Create a hollow section in the middle of the cake and fill it with raspberry puree and strawberry jam to create the 'blood' effect.
Seal the top layer and refrigerate until ready to serve.
When cut, the filling will spill out, resembling blood.
